ATC Leadership

Dr. Victor Grubsky, ATC Founder and Chief Scientist, received his Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Southern California in 1999. He is an expert in system architecture development, performance and power budget optimization, modeling and simulation, and data analysis. His technical areas of experience include navigation sensors, optical imaging systems, lasers, waveguides and optical fibers, and non-destructive testing technologies.

In recent years, Dr. Grubsky has been actively involved in the development of innovative X-ray non-destructive testing approaches, alternative navigation technologies for GPS-denied environment, and various optical sensor systems.  He has served as a Project Manager on multiple SBIR projects funded by the DoD, DoE, and NASA. Before founding ATC, Dr. Grubsky spent 17 years leading R&D efforts in X-ray and optical sensing technologies at Physical Optics Corporation, and prior to that was a co-founder of a startup company developing fiber-optic components and systems.

Dr. Grubsky has co-authored over 80 scientific publications and 9 U.S. patents.
